Mount Meru is a dormant volcano, located in the Arusha National Park. It is an extremely volatile mountain, with its first eruption 1.5 million years ago, blowing out close to a third of its circumference. Manyara is best known for its tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake that attracts thousands of pink flamingos, one of Tanzania’s biggest elephant population and breathtaking scenery.

The unique lions in the park have the capability to climb trees; being nocturnal animals they spend most of their day resting up in the big fig trees and at sunset they descend when the temperatures are cooler.

THE NGORONGORO CRATER

A unique wildlife area and UNESCO world heritage site.  It is the world’s largest inactive, intact unfilled caldera.   The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres (100 square miles).

THE NORTHERN RIFT

A spectacular scenic flight over the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the volcanoes that make up the Northern Rift of Tanzania, a totally unique and dramatic area. The volcanic region of northern Tanzania has an incredible diversity of landscapes, rich in Maasai culture and an abundance of wildlife.

CHEM CHEM LODGE

Set amidst a canopy of ancient baobabs, this quintessential safari camp weaves understated luxury into every experience. Dine in the wilderness, and marvel at the abundance of wildlife surrounding you. From dawn to dusk, relish in the tranquility and rhythmic pace of a slower Africa. The camp is made up of six safari tents, each with an indoor and outdoor shower.

DAY 5 - 6

LAKE EYASI & THE HADZA TRIBE

The Hadza, a small ethnic group of hunter-gatherers, are the earliest known inhabitants of the Yaeda Valley, though no one can say for sure when they arrived or where they came from originally.

Linguistic studies show that while their language is superficially similar to the Khoisan language group of the Bushmen and Hottentots, it cannot be placed in any of the recognized major ethno-linguistic groups.

MWIBA LODGE

Mwiba Lodge overlooks a rocky gorge on the Arugusinyai River, located within a wildlife reserve adjoining the southern Serengeti.

Limited to just 10 suites, each with a private deck, spectacular views, large soaking tub, outdoor rain shower, personal minibar and grand bed made for dreaming. The main lodge offers airy living spaces, a rejuvenating spa and gym and a curated wine cellar. An expansive pool is set on a rocky outcrop overlooking natural springs below where resident wildlife frequently comes to slake their thirst.

DAY 7 - 9

GRUMETI

The park is located at the tip of the famous Serengeti National Park. It is virtually a part of the Serengeti but is more remote. This beautiful coroner of the Serengeti is one of the best-kept secrets, due to its remoteness you can experience the Serengeti in a more exclusive manner. The number of visitors to the park is limited to around sixty guests, allowing it to be devoid of tourist crowds. originally.

SINGITA SABORA TENTED CAMP

Each suite includes a private meditation deck, an outdoor sala with daybeds, a private fitness area, and a lifestyle unit with a perfectly curated in-room pantry and dining space. A unique ‘Guest Deli’ featuring a collection of leather and woven baskets and fridges filled with gourmet delights allows guests to pick and choose treats to enjoy in the privacy of their suites or picnic spots around the camp.

SINGITA SASAKWA LODGE

Vintage Edwardian England meets pristine savannah in this extraordinary lodge. Set high above the wilderness, guests have a birds-eye view of the countryside beneath them. A game of tennis is just as much on the cards as a bush walk; a spot of retail therapy as a cultural visit.
